We are searching for a PPC Manager who will be reporting toVP-Operations
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented PPC Manager to oversee and streamline production planning, execution, and control in our export operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that production processes are aligned with buyer requirements, timelines are met, and product quality is maintained at every stage. This role is critical to ensuring timely shipment of export orders while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement production plans based on buyer orders and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with merchandising and procurement teams to ensure availability of raw materials and trims.
Prepare and maintain detailed production schedules and capacity plans for all departments (cutting, stitching, finishing, packing).
Monitor daily production output and compare it with the planned targets.
Identify bottlenecks or delays in the production line and implement corrective actions.
Liaise with quality control and production teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain accurate production reports, WIP (work-in-progress) reports, and shipment status.
Plan and manage manpower allocation to meet deadlines without overtime excess.
Ensure all export orders are completed and dispatched within the committed lead time.
Participate in weekly production review meetings and provide updates to senior management.
Qualifications & Key Skills
Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in a medium/large scale export house with multiple factories
Strong knowledge of production processes in export manufacturing
Excellent coordination and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and production tracking tools
Time management and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Ability to handle pressure and manage tight deadlines
