Derecktor is seeking a full-time Outside Machinist to install, inspect, repair, and replace mechanical, propulsion, steering, and hydraulic systems on vessels. You will report to our Mechanic Foreman on assigned projects.
Essential duties include reading blueprints, diagnosing issues, performing routine inspections and repairs, rigging, removing shafts and rudders, replacing bearings, and testing steering and hydraulic systems. Travel may be required.
