Maintenance Operative

OverviewWe’re looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our Facilities team. Responsibilities include opening/closing the building, repairing fixtures, and general maintenance on both a proactive and reactive basis. The role requires flexibility with working hours, including Saturday shifts and a day off during the week. Salary: £25,600 per annum.
Responsibilities- Opening and closing the building on a rota basis
- Adjusting and repairing fixtures and fittings
- General painting and upkeep of internal office spaces and communal areas
- External general maintenance such as pressure washing, grounds and car park upkeep, leaf blowing and hedge trimming
Contracted for 150 hours per four‑week period on a flexible basis. Work spread over five days per week. Required to work every Saturday, with a day off during the week.
Essential Requirements- Practical working experience and knowledge of general maintenance
- Personable and able to communicate efficiently
- Current full UK driving licence
- Ability to execute work without supervision, with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively and as part of a team in dynamic and high‑pressure situations
- NVQ qualification or equivalent
- ISRM qualification (National Spa Pool Plant Operators certificate)
- PAT testing C&G 2377
- Practical working experience and knowledge of general maintenance in a hospitality environment
