Multiskilled Engineer

Location: Crosskeys

We’re recruiting Multi‑Skilled Engineering professionals for a global high‑tech manufacturer based in South Wales.  These roles are part of a major site expansion and offer excellent long-term career development opportunities.

If you’re practically minded, technically trained, and confident working with mechanical AND electrical systems, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you come from the forces, automotive, engineering, manufacturing, or another hands‑on technical environment, your transferable skills are highly valued here.

You’ll be joining a cleanroom, modern facility with a strong focus on structured and planned activities. The role involves working on PC‑based equipment (minimal PLC work), supporting strip‑downs, rebuilds, calibrations, and fault recovery. Much of the work is repeatable, procedure‑driven, and carried out to high standards of precision.

Candidate Profile

Formal engineering or technical qualification (C&G, NVQ, HNC, etc.)

Ideally completed a formal apprenticeship (any discipline considered, automotive, military, engineering, etc.)

Mechanical AND electrical background – multi‑skilled candidates needed

Experience with pneumatics or vacuum systems is an advantage

Key Details

12‑hour shifts: permanent days (7am–7pm) or nights (7pm–7am)

No rotation this is a fixed shift pattern

Shift allowance:

Days:
Sun/Mon/Tue + alt Sat: +30%

Days:
Wed/Thu/Fri + alt Sat: +20%

Nights:
All patterns: +50%
