Regulatory Affairs Manager – Security

Location: Vodafone Newbury, England, United Kingdom

Summary: Join Vodafone to shape security compliance risk across the Group, translating regulations into business advice and ensuring robust security practices.

What You’ll Do
  • Ensure Vodafone Group entities understand and manage security compliance risks from regulatory obligations, aligned with Vodafone Cyber and Corporate Security policies.
  • Provide accurate, timely and effective security advice and manage stakeholder relationships across Vodafone Group entities, covering products, networks, and customer services.
  • Review technology and telecommunications security regulations, feeding requirements into internal security processes, tools, and business‑wide updates.
  • Develop and maintain a base of business guidance, standards, and best practices on security risk and compliance.
  • Coordinate and respond to regulator and government questionnaires or queries related to security or business resilience.
Who You Are
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in advising on regulatory compliance within communications or digital services.
  • A qualification or professional experience in cyber security or law is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of communicating with impact.
  • Comfortable working independently and virtually, with the ability to collaborate, inspire, and test in a complex organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills to provide effective, business‑relevant advice in ambiguous legal, regulatory, and political contexts.
