Location: Newbury/Paddington, London
Role Profile: We are on a mission to build a world‑class Value‑added Service portfolio currently comprising cloud numbers, messaging (A2P & P2A) that champions user experience, delivering innovative, integrated & comprehensive product sets designed to address Next Generation, Carriers and Enterprise customer requirements and help our customer innovate friction‑less user journeys. These Type C products are at the heart of the Vodafone Business Carrier & Partner Services strategy.
We need a VAS Commercial Pricing & Propositions Manager to support the portfolio strategy, innovation, implementation, and own the commercial pricing and propositions for existing and new products under the VAS portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop customer pricing and commercial propositions for all VBI customers for Cloud Numbers, A2P and P2A and other VAS products.
- Create pricing bundles across VAS services that provide VBI with a competitive advantage and a compelling customer offer.
- Own the governance process for new propositions taking such offers to EDRA for approval.
- Act as the Commercial SPOC for contract negotiations with both customers and suppliers.
- Integrate new capabilities and geographies as they are launched into VAS commercial propositions and pricing.
- Serve as an escalation point for sales, billing, supplier and customer queries regarding the VBI offering and help those functions deliver the set objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8‑10 years in Commercial and/or Pricing roles with solid understanding of P&L, supplier negotiations, commercial operations, price modelling and large multi‑product deal support.
- Demonstrated experience in end‑to‑end development and launch of customer propositions, commercial operations, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills and a team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Highly developed problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills, pragmatic approach to ensure job is done, comfortable working with ambiguity.
- Solid experience with contract negotiations and the legal frameworks used to conduct business.
Must have technical / professional qualifications: Business / Marketing Degree
