Role Overview

The role of this clinical support worker offers a variety of opportunities while maintaining the safety, welfare and dignity of patients at all times. Front facing department receptionist with clerical responsibilities and the need to utilise IT skills.

Responsibilities
  • To receive messages and telephone calls, relaying information correctly and promptly to the relevant staff
  • Report any departmental issues to the nurse in charge
  • Meet and greet patients attending the urology nurse led ambulatory department, department receptionist
  • Undertake routine administrative duties, utilise IT skills
  • Develop insight into the variation of nurse led activities
  • Housekeeper
  • It is expected that ALL employees of the Trust will take part in the appraisal process each year
