Staff Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care programmes for patients and their relatives.
• Provide a high standard of clinical nursing within the ward/department.
• Manage a group of patients.
• Take charge of the ward when rostered, demonstrating leadership and supervision.
• Act as a role model to students, Nursing Assistants, Assistants, Trainees and Nursing Associates/Trainees.
• Present a positive, professional image of the organisation and the nursing team.
