Gardening Volunteer

Location: Caudwell Children’s centre on Innovation Way, Keele University, ST5 5NT

Area of interest: Outdoors or Active Roles

• Carry out horticultural tasks for designated gardens to agreed maintenance standards.
• Weeding all areas of the grounds, including our sensory garden and walled ‘Thank You’ garden.
• General maintenance of all garden areas including pruning shrubs, digging and hoeing.
• Maintaining good access:
  Path maintenance.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines when using tools.

Our Gardening Team are on site on Friday mornings. For the role to be mutually beneficial, we hope for volunteers to give 3 to 4 hours a week for 6 months.
