Location:

Newcastle.

Shift: 7.45 am – 3.45 pm, Monday – Friday.

Office Attendance:
Office based for the first 6 months, after which hybrid working may become available once you are competent in the role. You should be able to travel to and work from our Newcastle office one full week in three.

Role Overview

You’ll provide administrative support to the Home and Car Claims Functions.

You may use standard and specific guidelines and procedures to complete tasks and will know when to seek help or escalation to a more senior role. Familiarity with call‑centre systems and knowledge of insurance claims products and services is desirable.

Responsibilities
  • General administration in a busy team – multitask, adapt and use various IT applications daily.
  • Develop and maintain excellent procedural or technical skills.
  • Ensure operational compliance by following mandatory procedures and adhering to internal codes of conduct.
  • Plan and prioritise own work schedule in line with changing priorities.
  • Manage documents and maintain files and records.
  • Highlight customer issues identified via daily processes.
  • Use stand‑alone supplier portals daily to instruct, update or make payments to support our customer claims.
