A growing multi‑disciplinary practice is seeking a Lead Building Regulations Consultant to take ownership of building regulations, compliance and safety across a wide range of projects. These include high‑rise residential buildings, commercial developments and large‑scale schemes throughout Newcastle and the surrounding region.

This is a remote role with occasional travel to meetings or sites within the local area.

• Leading building regulations strategy and compliance across complex projects
• Providing expert guidance on the Building Safety Act 2022 and Gateway requirements
• Working closely with design teams to maintain compliance without compromising design quality
• Advising on constructability, technical design and regulatory considerations
• Taking a leading role on high‑rise building projects (HRBs)
• If you have limited exposure to the Gateway process, the consultancy has a structured training pathway ready to support you.
