Locum Consultant Neurologist; interest in epilepsy

We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join our well integrated team. In this post, you will be expected to contribute to the acute and general out-patient neurology service at the RVI, including a share of the out of hours service, and to support the specialist epilepsy service. There is also a commitment to a local DGH, covering general neurology, epilepsy and inpatient liaison one day a week, This post is a locum post based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in the regional neurosciences centre initially for one year.

There is a possibility of converting to a substantive post. The post will provide a general neurology service, comprising acute and elective outpatient and inpatient work, including a share of the out of hours on-call, and will take part in the provision of a specialist service in epilepsy. There is also a commitment to a local DGH, covering general neurology, epilepsy and inpatient liaison one day a week.
