Join the Cundall Building Services Team, a leading provider of innovative and sustainable built environment solutions. Our team in Birmingham is known for its proactive, collaborative approach to skill development and professional excellence.

Produce 2D CAD drawings for RIBA Stages 2‑4 MEP Design for a wide range of local and international building projects. Work closely with Engineers, Technicians, and BIM Managers to develop coordinated drawings following Cundall’s Autodesk AutoCAD templates and design standards. Contribute ideas to our in‑house Digital Team to enhance AutoCAD automation and improve business efficiency.

• Create accurate 2D CAD drawings for MEP services, following Cundall standards and templates.
• Produce drawings from mark‑ups, sketches, and Bluebeam PDFs.
• Coordinate drawings within building layouts to ensure compliance with RIBA plan of works, BSRIA BG6, and ISO 19650 processes.
• Plan and organise workload, working under tight deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with cross‑disciplinary colleagues.
• Support the development of Automation solutions for AutoCAD.

• Background in Building Services with experience in Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health Disciplines.
• Educated to HNC level or higher in the subject.
• Strong practical experience using AutoCAD in a consultancy or MEP contractor setting.
• Proficiency with Cundall’s Autocad templates and design standards.
• Understanding of RIBA plan of works, BSRIA BG6, and ISO 19650.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven planning and organisational skills; effective communicator.
