We are working alongside a privately-owned Building Services consultancy in the North East who are looking for an ambitious and driven Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer and an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their growing office.

Your workload is varied, offering different challenges and rewards. Project sectors include Custodial, Healthcare, Education, Residential, Commercial and much more.

• responsible for design development, including drawings and calculations;
• liaise with Clients, other design team members and contractors;
• liaise with other team members to plan workload and resources;
• produce drawings and calculations and check those of others;
• author official documents including letters, reports and specifications;

• Sound technical knowledge of mechanical building services.
• AutoCAD/REVIT familiarity (although not critical)
• Familiar with industry standard calculation programmes, e.g. Hevacomp/Cymap/IES.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Grad level – Early £20k – late £20k+ package

Intermediate level – £30k – £36k+ package
