Corporate Tax Manager - Newcastle Overview

Clark Wood have been instructed on a Managerial level opportunity - for a nationally recognised large regional firm in Newcastle - which offers the chance to focus on interesting advisory work for a mixed portfolio of tax clients.

Suitable for a CTA Qualified experienced Assistant Manager or current Manager from a small, mid‑tier or large firm, who has experience managing a department and also a large complex portfolio of tax clients.

The main client base for this role would be SMEs & OMBs and some international groups in the Newcastle and wider Tyneside & Northumberland region.

• Provide high level advisory & planning services with a great deal of autonomy.
• Business development and networking: develop client services and grow tax portfolio.
• Increase awareness & exposure of the firm's tax services.
• Deal with broad range of business and corporate tax issues, including business reorganisations, reconstructions and demergers, share schemes and EIS/SEIS, R&D tax credits, patent box claims, M&A, exit planning and succession planning.

• CTA / ACA Qualified.
• Proven track record of Business Development.
• Experience with in an Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager level role.
• Good technical skills and thorough understanding of UK tax issues.

This Central Newcastle office is commutable from areas all across Tyneside, Northumberland, Gateshed, Jesmond etc.
