Are you a passionate Support Worker with British Sign Language (BSL) skills? Join a new supported living service helping two 23‑year‑old men with profound deafness transition to independence. We’re hiring full‑time (37 hrs/week, 3 × 12‑hr shifts) and part‑time (min. 21 hrs/week). Shifts include two weekends/month, with rotas set 2‑3 months ahead.

• Deliver 1:1 and 2:1 care using BSL or commit to training to complete BSL within 1 year.
• Support with cooking, cleaning, personal care, and routines.
• Facilitate health appointments and medication.
• Promote inclusion through swimming, gaming, deaf clubs, and conventions.
• Use visual tools (VOCA, symbol boards).
• Maintain accurate care records.

• BSL qualification held, or commitment to complete within 1 year.
• Experience with learning disabilities or communication needs.
• Empathy, patience, and trust‑building skills.
• Flexibility for varied shifts and weekends.
• Experience working with young people who need support in managing behaviours.
