Strategic HR Manager - Production & Manufacturing £60,000-£70,000

Are you an experienced HR leader ready to step into a high-impact, strategically focused role? A market-leading organisation within the production and manufacturing sector is seeking a Strategic HR Manager to drive HR excellence across a dynamic, fast-paced site of approximately 100 employees.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who thrives on shaping organisational culture, building people strategies, and partnering closely with senior leadership to deliver measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Lead
As Strategic HR Manager, you will be responsible for designing and executing the full HR roadmap for the site, including:
  • Developing and deploying HR strategies aligned with operational and commercial objectives.
  • Driving organisational effectiveness through workforce planning, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
  • Leading employee relations with confidence and clarity, ensuring a fair, compliant, and engaging employee experience.
  • Championing a high-performance culture across engineering, production, and support teams.
  • Collaborating with union representatives and industry bodies when required.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team on all HR matters, from succession planning to change management.
What You Bring
We are looking for a strategic, forward-thinking HR professional with:
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into strategic HR initiatives that deliver real impact.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to navigate complex HR challenges.
  • A preference for a background in HR management within production, engineering, or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in organisations of a similar scale (c. 100 employees) highly advantageous.
