This role will be full time onsite in either Newcastle or Erskine.

The role requires SC moving to DV.

Roles Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical authority on all aspects of Citrix technologies including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix Cloud, Citrix ADC (Net Scaler), Citrix Store Front, and Citrix Workspace.
  • Lead the design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Citrix infrastructure and related solutions.
  • Manage Citrix environments across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud-based deployments (Azure/AWS).
  • Develop and maintain documentation including architecture diagrams, build guides, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Monitor and optimise system performance, capacity, and availability of Citrix environments.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure Citrix platforms adhere to organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives around user experience, system reliability, and automation.
  • Work closely with service desk, desktop support, and EUC teams to ensure seamless end-user service delivery.
  • Evaluate and recommend Citrix-related tools, upgrades, patches, and licensing.
  • Support and lead Citrix-related projects such as platform upgrades, cloud migrations, and DR testing.
Desirable Skills
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Citrix technologies in an enterprise environment.
  • Expert‑level knowledge of:
    • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (on‑prem and/or Citrix Cloud)
    • Citrix Store Front and Workspace Environment Management (WEM)
    • Citrix ADC (Net Scaler) – configuration, high availability, and security
    • FSLogix, Profile Management, and User Layering
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and user profile management.
  • Familiarity with scripting/automation (Power Shell preferred).
  • Experience with monitoring and performance tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud‑based VDI solutions (Microsoft AVD, Citrix on Azure/AWS) is a plus.
  • Citrix certifications (e.g., CCP‑V, CCE‑V) highly desirable.
  • ITIL awareness and change management experience.
