Plasma Operator

Our client based in Newcastle are looking for a Plasma Operator to join an expanding team on a permanent basis. Responsible for the safe day to day running of an allocated machine and to ensure that all manufacturing targets are achieved.

• Salary between £28,450 and £29,990
• Working Hours – Monday to Thursday 7:00 until 16:45
• Pension – Match up to 6%
• Production Bonus – Up to £360 per quarter
• Holidays – 25 days plus bank holidays

• Ensure all plasma cutting is carried out on time
• Ensure all profiles are of good quality to the internal / external customer
• Support and supply both internal and external customer base
• Implement and sustain 5S standards, with a target of 12+-
• Achieve efficiency levels to 95% target
• Carry out all duties with due diligence
• Carry out all duties within H&S guidelines
• Help and support trainees and new starters
• Complete any other duties as requested
