Job Description

* The Buyer will support purchasing and materials activity within a manufacturing environment

* Manage purchase orders, pricing, and supplier data within an ERP/MRP system

* Interpret MRP demands and align procurement activity with production plans

* Source materials and sub-contract services in line with cost, quality, and lead-time expectations

* Communicate effectively with suppliers to manage order dates and documentation

* Work cross-functionally with planning, engineering, and production teams

* As a Buyer, you will contribute to process improvement and purchasing efficiency

Skills & Experience

* Must have background in sub-contracting buying

* Experience as a Buyer within manufacturing or engineering

* Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems

* Confident supplier negotiation and communication skills

* High attention to detail and strong organisational ability

* Must be able to pass BPSS clearance
