Business Development Manager – North East
MCFT, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom
We are looking for a results-focused Business Development Manager to lead sales in the North East region. The role involves identifying key prospects, promoting our service sales, and building long‑term relationships.
Responsibilities- Maintain personal lead generation calls to achieve appointment targets and sales opportunities.
- Develop new business, including management and submission of tenders.
- Liaise with field‑based operational colleagues to gain awareness of new opportunities and develop ongoing business.
- Account management of existing key accounts.
- Stay aware of market conditions and periodically conduct research.
- Participate in networking opportunities.
- Manage and complete weekly sales reports, providing commentary and forecast information.
- Proven sales track record in a B2B environment.
- Success delivering service‑sales targets.
- Ability to produce a personal sales activity plan designed to achieve targets.
- Capacity to develop sales opportunities from a range of sources, including cold calling and partnership with third parties.
- Strong, sustainable relationship‑building and influencing skills.
- High level of tenacity, drive and motivation to deliver impressive results.
- Professional and confident communicator.

Package- Starting salary £40K – £45K basic, OTE £55K – £60K.
