We are looking for a results-focused Business Development Manager to lead sales in the North East region. The role involves identifying key prospects, promoting our service sales, and building long‑term relationships.

• Maintain personal lead generation calls to achieve appointment targets and sales opportunities.
• Develop new business, including management and submission of tenders.
• Liaise with field‑based operational colleagues to gain awareness of new opportunities and develop ongoing business.
• Account management of existing key accounts.
• Stay aware of market conditions and periodically conduct research.
• Participate in networking opportunities.
• Manage and complete weekly sales reports, providing commentary and forecast information.

• Proven sales track record in a B2B environment.
• Success delivering service‑sales targets.
• Ability to produce a personal sales activity plan designed to achieve targets.
• Capacity to develop sales opportunities from a range of sources, including cold calling and partnership with third parties.
• Strong, sustainable relationship‑building and influencing skills.
• High level of tenacity, drive and motivation to deliver impressive results.
• Professional and confident communicator.

• Starting salary £40K – £45K basic, OTE £55K – £60K.
