PHP Developer

You’ll work closely with product and development teams to create new features, enhance existing systems, and ensure the performance and reliability of platforms. This role involves backend PHP development with opportunities to contribute to frontend components depending on your experience.

• Developing and maintaining backend applications using PHP (7/8)
• Working with MVC frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
• Writing clean, testable, and well-structured code
• Integrating and building RESTful APIs
• Collaborating with designers, developers, and stakeholders
• Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimising application performance

• PHP 7/8
• Laravel / Symfony
• MySQL / MariaDB
• REST APIs
• Composer / PHPUnit

• Commercial experience as a PHP Developer
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Experience with modern PHP frameworks
• Good understanding of databases and query optimisation
