Salary: £58,000 - £60,000 per annum

Location:

Newcastle Upon Tyne (One day a week on site)

VIQU have partnered with a national organisation going through an exciting transformation from legacy systems, and so are looking to hire a Senior Frontend developer focused on React. Responsibilities of the Senior Front End Developer:

• Assist in the design and implementation of frontend solutions using React, HTML, and CSS using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Integrate RESTful API's and backend data.
• Write unit tests using Jest.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, teaching best practises and driving continuous improvements.

Experience required of the Senior Front End Developer:

• Previously worked as a senior level developer, for an enterprise level organisation.
• Hands on experience across HTML, CSS, and React.
• Experience writing unit tests with frameworks like Jest.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
• Previous experience working with a range of API's to integrate backend data.
• Experience of implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
