About the RoleAs a Security Analyst
, you'll play a key role in safeguarding systems, data, and networks from unauthorised access. You’ll implement security controls, monitor threats, develop incident response playbooks, and support cyber incident simulations. Your work will align with our values and contribute to delivering excellent outcomes.
Security Operations & Monitoring
- Implement and monitor security controls to protect systems, data, and networks.
- Respond to security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, tools, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks.
- Participate in cyber incident simulations and real-world response efforts.
- Investigate, document, and remediate security events.
- Assist in maintaining security frameworks aligned with industry standards.
- Support policy development, reviews, and dissemination across the business.
- Conduct internal assurance activities and assist with external audits.
- Work with IT and architecture teams to ensure secure system design.
- Help deliver security awareness initiatives across the organisation.
- Contribute to reporting for governance forums and risk committees.

Your Experience
- Diploma or degree in IT-related fields such as cybersecurity or computer science.
- 3–7 years' experience in security or related roles (e.g., network/system administrator).
- Experience in regulated industries preferred (e.g., banking/financial services).
- Practical hacking experience through study or conferences.
- Hands‑on experience with IT projects.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of computer/network systems, devices, software, and internet threats.
- Familiarity with security monitoring tools and investigations.
- Up‑to‑date understanding of IT security standards/practices.
- Problem‑solving mindset with excellent time‑management skills.
- Collaborative approach with effective communication skills.
- Adaptability in fast‑paced environments with evolving priorities.
- Passion for learning new technologies.
- Resilient thinker who can provide practical solutions.
