We’re adding an Emergency Veterinarian to our 24/7 emergency and referral hospital in Newmarket

About the HospitalOur hospital is a busy, well-equipped emergency and referral centre with a diverse caseload that keeps your skills sharp and your work interesting. You’ll work alongside experienced emergency clinicians and collaborate closely with in-house specialists, as well as referral partners across the GTA.
We place a strong emphasis on mentorship, shared decision-making, and supporting one another through challenging cases. This is a place where asking questions, learning, and growing are part of the culture.
The RoleAs part of our emergency team, you will:
- Manage a wide range of emergency and critical care cases
- Work a rotational schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
- Collaborate with specialists and fellow ER veterinarians
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients and clear communication to clients
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- At least two years of emergency experience, with internship training considered a strong asset
- Confident clinical decision-making and strong communication skills
- A genuine interest in emergency medicine and continued professional growth
- Continuing education allowance and paid conference time
