Project Manager 3 Month Fixed Term Contract

Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Remote + regular island travel (expensed)
Contract: 12 Jan 11 Apr
Annual Salary Equivalent: £50,000 £ 55,000
Hours: 37.5 per week

We re looking for a Project Manager to support defence-sector programmes on a short-term contract. You ll lead project delivery, manage subcontractor work packages and ensure all milestones, quality and compliance requirements are met. Remote role with required travel to the island.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage project plans, schedules and resources

• Lead customer communication and project reviews

• Manage subcontractor deliverables

• Maintain RAID logs and drive mitigations

• Ensure defence compliance and security requirements

• Monitor budgets and support reporting

• Apply Earned Value Management

• Liaise with engineering teams and manage Technical Queries

Skills & Experience

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Proficient in MS Project

• Experience with schedules, RAID logs, EVM and subcontractor management

• Background in technical/engineering/regulated environments

• Eligible for UK Security Clearance

• Project Management qualification or relevant experience
