This is a varied, hands-on position where you’ll keep the day-to-day finance running smoothly, whilst getting involved in shaping controls, improving processes and supporting decision-making across the organisation.

• Preparing annual budgets and monitoring performance throughout the year
• Monthly management accounts, cashflow, KPIs and clear financial insight
• Bank recs, ledgers, fixed asset registers
• Supporting payroll and liaising with external providers
• VAT returns and compliance requirements
• Supporting retail operations with EPOS and coding accuracy
• Helping refine and enhance financial systems and digital tools

You’ll be confident in your accounting foundations and possess experience using a range of financial systems. Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills would be preferred, along with the ability to work independently, stay organised and communicate clearly across the business. If you’ve picked up AAT Level 4 or have experience in charity finance, VAT partial exemption, management reporting, or tools like Power BI, CRM systems or EPOS, that’s a real bonus.
