Business Advisory - Newly Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant

MCS Group are looking for a Business Advisory Accountant to join a global Professional Services Firm based in their growing Newry office.

Our client is a global professional services firm with bases in the north and south of Ireland. They provide a range of services including Advisory, Audit & Accounts, Tax & Payroll, financial planning and wealth management to their extensive global client base. As the successful Business Advisory Accountant, you will receive the following:

• £40-£45k + extensive benefits

As the successful Business Advisory Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with a large and diverse client base
• Offer advisory services to a large portfolio of NI and ROI based clients
• Assist with year end and management accounts prep as well as VAT and bookkeeping
• Develop and support a growing team
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description

The successful Business Advisory Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• ACA, ACCA or similar
• Strong PQ Accountants considered
• Xero and cloud knowledge is desirable
• Ideally from a general practice background with strong demonstrable compliance skills
• Strong IT skills
• Strong communication skills ideally with client facing experience
