Carlingford Lodge Care Home, located in the picturesque port town of Warrenpoint, County Down.
Join our warm and supportive environment providing nursing care to 58 residents across three specialised units:
General Nursing, Dementia Nursing, and General Residential.
About the Home
Led by our Home Manager, our professional team of nurses and carers work closely together, supported by dedicated administrative staff and ancillary teams including housekeeping, catering, and maintenance, to ensure the highest standard of care.
The RoleThe Domestic Assistant supports the Housekeeper by maintaining the cleanliness, tidiness, and welcoming environment of the home, contributing to the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure the expected cleanliness and hygiene standards are achieved throughout the home.
- Cover domestic duties as assigned.
- Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management.
- Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule.
- Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
- A good standard of both verbal and written English.
- Relevant experience for the role.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Previous care home experience.
- Basic knowledge of COSHH, Health and Safety, and Fire Regulations.
