Responsibilities
  • Customer Complaint Management:
    Lead investigation and resolution of customer complaints through collaboration with T&I, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Operations. Research production history in Sibelco databases. Conduct root cause analysis and manage implementation of corrective actions. Issue RCCA reports to customers. Conduct routine tours and inspections of plants and processes.
  • Quality:
    Monitor and report on operating/quality trends of plants and finished products. Identify trends and notify operations, sales, and customers. Work with operations to identify root causes and resolve deviations. Produce quality reports as required by customers. Participate in technical meetings with objectives impacting quality.
  • Relationship Management:
    Develop strong relationships with technical representatives of Sibelco’s customers. Solicit customers and monitor industry technology trends for new product generation. Trial new products with customers.
  • Influence Key Decision Makers:
    Build relationships with opinion leaders such as prescribers, machinery producers, consultants.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Develop detailed understandings of customers’ processes to assist problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
  • Assist plant sites with the development of annual continuous improvement plans and process assessments related to customers.
  • Perform Market Intelligence:
    Develop knowledge of market situation, product of competition, and competitive advantages. Support directors and VP in determining market share and wallet share with customers.
  • Product Specifications:
    Work closely with customers, operations, and sales to define product specifications that are agreeable to both parties when issues arise.
