Parts Advisor - Newton Abbot

An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team at our Newton Abbot site. This is a great chance to be part of a well-established company, where you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service and support to both our customers and workshop team.

Salary: £13.77 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and 11:00 am to 8:00 pm plus a Saturday morning, all shift times are operated on a rota basis. i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch (unpaid).

• Identify parts for the front and back counters.
• Check off stock and accurately put away keeping the stock area tidy.
• Pick orders and put on the delivery shelves.
• Process returns back to the supplier.
• Process customer credits.
• Handle warranty returns.
• Stock receipting on DMS.

• Excellent customer service and strong administration skills.
• A friendly, can do attitude, with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Some working knowledge of the motor vehicle sector or automotive trade.
• Experience working to performance targets.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Autoline, Kerridge or Keyloop would be an advantage.
