Salary: £60,000-£70,000 DOE

The role:

The Head of Health and Safety will oversees quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across the business. You will ensure the business has a strong safety-first culture and drive continuous improvement through effective risk management.

This role will involve regular travel to projects across the UK and you may be required to work extended hours or weekends to meet any urgent needs across the business.

Key responsibilities:

* Stakeholder engagement and liaison with industry regulators

* Team leadership and development to include mentorship and training and awareness programmes

* Carry out risk assessments, incident investigations and ensure compliance meets regulatory requirements/standards.

* Develop, implement and maintain QHSE policies.

Candidate Requirements:

* Experience in a similar Health and Safety role

* Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

* Experience in Civils of Marine Construction

* TechIOSH, NEBOSH and ideally CMIOSH qualifications

* Degree Level qualification or equivalent

* Proven team leadership skills
