Bluegate is working with a leading British semiconductor manufacturing company based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, supplying high‑reliability products to the defence industry. As part of their continued growth, we are seeking a Yield and Integration Engineer to support process optimisation, product performance, and manufacturing excellence.

As a Yield and Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in improving device yield, supporting process integration projects, and driving continuous improvement across wafer fabrication processes. You will work closely with manufacturing, process, quality, and R&D teams to ensure robust, high‑yield production.

• Analyse manufacturing data to identify yield loss mechanisms and drive corrective actions.
• Support process integration across multiple semiconductor process steps.
• Lead root‑cause analysis using statistical and problem‑solving methodologies (e.g., SPC, DOE, 8D).
• Drive yield improvement projects from investigation through to implementation.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and process change qualification.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing or high‑ and medium‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor processes and process integration.
• Proven experience with yield analysis and data‑driven problem solving.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and manufacturing data systems.
