You'll oversee night shift production, ensuring safety, quality, and delivery targets are met while identifying opportunities to improve workflow, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. Your leadership will have a direct impact on both the team and the success of the operation.
One of the biggest perks? A four-day work week. The standard night shift schedule is 4:30 PM - 5:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
, giving you a three-day weekend every week. Additional scheduling variations may occur based on business needs.
- Lead daily fabrication operations and production flow
- Drive safety, quality, and productivity across the shop
- Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to minimise downtime
- Monitor performance and resolve production bottlenecks
- Support employee training and development
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing, or a related industry
- Leadership experience in a supervisor or lead role
- Strong blueprint reading and production planning skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A safety-first mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
