R&D Technician job now available to work in Engineering & Product Development for a reputable business in Newtown, Powys, Wales.
The R&D Technician will join a leading technology business at the forefront of product innovation. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on R&D Technician to support new product development by testing and evaluating prototype designs within a collaborative engineering environment.
What the R&D Technician will be doing in their job:
* Build and test prototype modules and PCBs from drawings and specifications
* Execute test plans to validate product performance and reliability
* Record results and create clear technical reports
* Work closely with design engineers to identify and resolve technical issues
The profile of the R&D Technician:
* HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
* Practical experience working safely in a 3-phase lab or similar environment
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* A proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving
