Platform has partnered with a multinational OEM recognised for their industry leading products within industrial drives to grow their advanced Power Electronics R&D team, developing new products from concept to manufacture.

• Design critical power components for new products & designs.
• Design and develop analogue, digital, and electronic circuits and systems for power electronics.
• Explore emerging technology in the field, innovating ways to incorporate into designs and products.
• Work alongside a talented and multi-disciplinary team consisting of hardware, firmware and mechanical engineers to navigate complex system designs and trade-offs.

• MEng or MSc in Power Electronics or related discipline; experience in a commercial environment.
• Proficiency with SPICE circuit simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of thermal design, DFM, mechanical constraints, and PCB layout; experience with SMPS.
• Ability to build prototypes, experimentation on systems and bench test.
• Experience with thermal, mechanical or EMC for motor drives.
