Senior Quantity Surveyor

Due to an increase in allocated work, a leading Civil Engineering and Utility Contractor is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on energy projects across London. This is a hybrid working role with the Senior QS expected to work in the Dartford office 3 days per week.

The Role Working on a utility framework, you will manage several schemes at any one time with a combined value of £20M. Project works are power-related and range from the installation of cable ducts on a large scale (over 20km) to the refurbishment/fit-out of existing assets and new sub-station construction. Reporting to the commercial manager, your duties will include subcontract management, cost reporting and cost reconciliations.

This opportunity offers a varied QS role working for well well-established contractor with healthy order books for the next few years. Experience Required To be considered, Senior Quantity Surveyors will be educated to HNC/ BSc Quantity Surveying and be able to demonstrate experience working on civil engineering, utility or ideally power projects in the UK. An excellent understanding of NEC contracts is essential.
