Community Care Worker

We have full‑time and part‑time positions available, covering Newtownards, Comber, Ballygowan and surrounding areas, Bangor and surrounding areas.

Salary: £12.70 per hour – 37.5 hours per week. Contract type:

• Assist with personal washing, showering, bathing/bed bathing and dressing/undressing.
• Provide refreshments and light snacks.
• Promptly administer medication.
• Assist with practical support such as light cleaning, fire lighting, shopping, dish‑washing, laundry, and maintaining spectacles, false teeth and hearing aids.
• Assist client to move safely, which may require the use of moving and handling aids such as hoists and slide sheets.
• Provide a care‑sitting service to give respite to other carers such as family members.
• Encourage and promote client independence and choice, and uphold client rights and dignity.

• Full driving licence.
• Access to an own mobile phone.
• Access to a car and car insurance in connection with business.
• Having a desire to care for vulnerable adults in their home.

Day shift: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
Evening shift: 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm

To provide adequate care for our clients, you should be available to complete a full shift. Please note this role requires you to be available to work weekday and weekend shifts.
