Care Assistant - Part Time

Home Instead Down & Lisburn covers, Greater Belfast, North and Mid Down, Newcastle and Lisburn areas. We are currently looking for Care Professionals who are passionate about care and want to make a difference to the lives of our older people. The ‘Home Instead Way’ includes personalised one-to- one care, visits at a minimum of an hour and an optimistic outlook on age.

Responsibilities:

Being a Care Professionalis an essential role supporting older people to live well h the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for.

Here’s what you could be doing:

• Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
• Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
• Accompanying to appointments or shopping
• Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent

Hold a current UK full driving licence and have access to use of a car
