Senior Data Analyst

Beebom is hiring a Senior Data Analyst for our in-house Tech team to work on our new product, Beebom’s Gadgets. In this role, you will own the analytics function end-to-end — from data exploration to driving measurable business impact. You’ll take ownership of analyzing data, understanding user behavior, and tracking product performance to guide data-driven decisions across the organization.

You will be responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and visualizing data, ensuring it is accurate, meaningful, and actionable. Your insights will directly shape product and growth strategies, helping the team make informed, impactful decisions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and BI tools, and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment that values autonomy, curiosity, and clarity.

Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in media, digital products, or consumer tech
- Strong command of Mongo

DB queries and aggregation pipelines
- Proven experience turning unstructured datasets into actionable insights
- Comfortable working with large-scale platform data and time-series information

- Experience with product or web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, or similar
- Familiarity with Athena, Big Query, or other large-scale data querying technologies
- Strong understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Metabase)
- Solid grasp of user behavior analytics, segmentation, and funnel tracking

- Experience with Python (Pandas/Numpy) or SQL is a PLUS
- Strong communication and data storytelling skills
- A self-starter who can define their own questions, metrics, and analytical frameworks
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

- Analyze platform data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities
- Design and optimize Mongo

DB queries and aggregation pipelines for analytics and reporting
- Extract, clean, and structure raw data to make it usable and insightful
- Build dashboards and automated reports to track key business and product KPIs
- Dive deep into user journeys, engagement funnels, segmentation, and retention patterns
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to define success metrics
- Communicate insights through compelling data storytelling and visualizations
