About The Internship Role
We are looking for highly motivated interns with strong interest in research, data, public policy, governance, or political strategy. Interns will support the SnR team across a wide range of strategic, analytical, and research-oriented tasks, gaining hands-on experience across both political and non-political domains.
High-performing interns may be offered a  full-time Analyst role  in SnR upon completion.

Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis
Assist in designing questionnaires, research tools, and discussion guides.
Support data cleaning, validation, and basic quantitative/qualitative analysis.
Conduct secondary research, literature reviews, and background briefs.
Experience in social, political, policy, governance, or citizen-centric research is an advantage.

Insights & Reporting
Support preparation of presentation decks, insight reports, and visual narratives.
Assist in synthesizing field insights, quantitative findings, and qualitative themes.
Participate in internal insight discussions and brainstorming sessions.

Planning & Coordination
Help structure research plans, sampling outlines, and project documentation.
Coordinate with operations teams for updates on fieldwork and data quality.
Track project timelines and maintain workflow documentation.

Business Development Support
Contribute to pitch decks, proposals, and case studies for prospective clients.
Gather background insights on political, policy, or sectoral landscapes.
Assist in designing visually compelling client-facing materials.

Generalist Responsibilities
Provide support across any SnR tasks including data work, content work, coordination, planning, or research support.
Work closely with the SnR Head and Managers for end-to-end exposure.

Basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
Proficiency in English, Hindi, and at least one additional Indian language — to support multi-state research and field coordination.
A proactive, ownership-driven approach with the ability to multitask.

Education
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in:
Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Statistics, Management, Data Science, or any research-oriented discipline.
