If so, we at TGRC are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Grid Connection Manager to join a dynamic team on a 16-month contract based in the vibrant region of Norfolk. With a competitive day rate of £500, this role offers a fantastic chance to contribute to a greener future.

As a Grid Connection Manager, you will be pivotal in overseeing the successful connection of renewable energy projects to the national grid. Your expertise will ensure that all technical and regulatory aspects of grid connection are managed effectively, from initial design through to the final commissioning. This role demands a strategic thinker who can navigate complex challenges and drive projects to completion.

• Project Management
  :
  Lead the grid connection aspects of renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with national standards and regulations.

• Stakeholder Engagement
  :
  Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to grid connection, liaising with network operators, project managers, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Technical Oversight
  :
  Oversee the preparation of connection offers, ensuring technical and commercial viability.

• Safety Compliance
  :
  Maintain stringent adherence to health and safety protocols, ensuring all activities comply with legal and operational standards.

• Documentation and Reporting
  :
  Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to grid connections and provide regular updates to senior management.

• Experience
  :
  Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting renewable energy projects, specifically in grid connections.

• Education
  :
  Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

• Certifications
  :
  Possession of all relevant Health & Safety (H&S) tickets.

• Skills
  :
  Strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of electrical grid systems.
