We are working with a global technology manufacturer known for precision and quality. Their Norwich site is home to a team of technical specialists supporting high-level calibration and measurement activities. The Role:

As a Metrology Engineer, you will support accredited calibrations for both new and existing products. You’ll work closely with a team of engineers and metrologists to ensure measurement systems deliver accurate, reliable, and consistent results. This role contributes to ISO/IECcompliance, calibration process improvement, and technical support for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support accredited calibrations and review measurement system results.

* Develop and perform calibration methods under guidance from senior metrologists.

* Conduct uncertainty analyses and maintain statistical process controls.

* Maintain documentation and compliance with ISO/IECquality standards.

* Assist with design and improvement of automated test and measurement systems.

* Provide technical support to colleagues and customers.

* Drive continuous improvement of calibration processes and quality systems.

Skills and Experience

Required:

* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience.

* Experience in metrology or calibration within an ISO/IECaccredited laboratory.

* Knowledge of programming for test automation or data analysis (e.g., MET/CAL, C#, VB, Java, Python).

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.
