Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

My client are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join their Snetterton plant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring CMMS information is up to date, identifying areas for continuous improvements and assisting the projects department with larger projects.

45 hours per week - rotational shift pattern of 06:00 - 15:00, 14:00 - 23:00 and 22:00 - 07:00 hours Monday to Friday. On-call cover for weekends, rotated between engineering team. Option for occasional overtime.

Salary: £48K per year + overtime and call-out allowance.

• PPM's on a variety of processing, production, packaging and site facilities equipment.
• Reactive maintenance and machine breakdowns.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Working with mincers, mixers, VEMAG, check-weighers, vertical fillers, flow-wrappers, pouch machines, refrigeration plant, steam generators, air compressors and conveyors.

• Minimum NVQ level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering with an electrical bias.
• Electrical City & Guilds qualification is essential.
• Experience with in multi-skilled engineering role essential, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Experience of site plant & facilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
• Good communication, numeracy and analytical skills.
• Proven exposure to TPM/WCM/Lean (desirable).
