MetOcean Engineer

Elec Tech Solutions Ltd, part of the Asteroceras Group
, is establishing a new Met Ocean (Meteorological & Oceanographic) business division and seeking a Met Ocean Engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset to help build and grow this capability.

This is a varied role combining engineering, data analysis, client engagement, and hands‑on field work
, offering the opportunity to directly influence how the division develops from day one.

• Deployment, maintenance, and operation of Met Ocean monitoring systems
• Offshore and coastal field work, including installations and maintenance
• Processing, analysis, and interpretation of Met Ocean data
• Supporting the development of new services, proposals, and client solutions

• Degree or equivalent experience in Met Ocean, oceanography, meteorology, or marine engineering
• Experience with Met Ocean instrumentation and datasets
• Comfortable working independently and in the field
• Commercially aware, curious, and motivated to build something new
