About the Role

Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Other Responsibilities
  • Assist residents in all personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect at all times.
  • Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
  • Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
  • Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Our Ideal Candidate Must
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and other people in the home.
  • Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
  • Be able to adapt and be flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
