ResponsibilitiesYour focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. You will monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be involved in the person-centred care planning process, support residents with their medication requirements, and undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development.
You will act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and update care plans as needs change.
- Involve in the person-centred care planning process, including monitoring and monthly evaluations.
- Support residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
- Communicate effectively with residents, relatives, visitors, and health/social care professionals.

- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have 2 years of experience in a similar care environment.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
