Full time

NEW

We have a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service to join our IT and Digital Team.

You will assist in the day‑to‑day operations of the IT service desk function to help manage IT incidents and requests. In this rewarding role you will work in a fast‑paced environment with a skilled and friendly team to support and help develop your IT skills and knowledge. This will include gaining experience of answering telephone calls from users, understanding the nature of their call and raising an appropriate ticket for support via an IT Service Management tool.

You will be expected to study for your Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship alongside your role; for which you will be given study time during your working hours.

The successful applicant will be a customer focused team player, with an ability to communicate effectively with a range of people. You will have a strong interest in IT solutions. You will also need to meet the minimum entry requirements for apprenticeships in England.

Minimum entry requirements for apprenticeships in England include:
  • English and maths at Level 2 (GCSE A–C). If you have not previously achieved these grades, or if you are unable to provide evidence of the qualifications, then you will need to complete these qualifications during your apprenticeship training.
  • You should not already have significant skills and knowledge (through previous qualifications and/or work experience) related to this subject.
  • You must be a citizen of the UK or European Economic Area (EEA), or have lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 consecutive years and have a right to work in the UK.
