Position: Window Fabricator (Temporary)
Select Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Window Fabricator to join a busy and expanding manufacturing team in Norwich. Due to increased demand for the fabrication of Windows, Doors, and Curtain Walling, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Window Fabricator looking for secure, long-term work.

This role is ideal for a dedicated Window Fabricator who takes pride in precision, quality workmanship, and working within a fast-paced production environment.

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 06:30 – 15:00
Friday: 06:30 – 13:30

Key Responsibilities

As a Window Fabricator, your duties will include:

Measuring, cutting, and assembling aluminium and uPVC profiles to exact specifications
Using hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fabricate high-quality window and door units
Fitting hardware, gaskets, beads, and seals to completed frames
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work orders
Quality checking finished products to ensure company standards are met
Assisting with loading, unloading, and movement of materials
Keeping the workstation clean, safe, and organised
Following all health & safety procedures and reporting any issues promptly
Supporting general factory operations as required

Key Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a Window Fabricator is essential

Experience with aluminium fabrication preferred
Window, Door, and Curtain Wall fabrication experience in other materials is essential
CNC or similar machinery experience is advantageous
Excellent attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently
Good timekeeping and reliability
Willingness to work overtime when required
Shows initiative and a strong work ethic
