The R.O. Cashier supports the service department by processing customer payments and repair order (R.O.) transactions accurately and efficiently. This role provides courteous customer service, maintains transaction records, and coordinates with service staff to help ensure a smooth checkout experience.

• Process payments for service invoices using cash, credit cards, checks, or other approved methods.
• Review repair orders and invoices for accuracy before completing transactions.
• Explain charges, payment options, and receipts to customers in a clear and professional manner.
• Balance the cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate payment records and handle customer information confidentially.
• Coordinate with service advisors and other team members to resolve billing questions or discrepancies.
• Answer customer questions in person and by phone, directing requests to the appropriate staff when needed.
• Keep the cashier area organized and follow company policies and safety procedures.

• Previous cashier, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling financial transactions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to use a point-of-sale system and standard office software, or learn these tools as needed.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy service environment.
• Reliable attendance and a professional, respectful approach to customers and colleagues.
